Goal 1:
Reduction of Imports
Based on statistics from Customs and from Ministry of Agriculture, Kosova imports around 80,000 tones of fertilizers per year
Dhemetra plans that within 3 year reaches production capacity of 15 000 tones of final product by processing around 40 000 tones of raw material (organic waste).
This quantity will replace around 20 % or current imports, with potential to increase even more in the future
Goal 2:
Reduction of Environmental Pollution
Dhemetra has identified sizable quantities of organic waste which can be used in production of organic fertilizers
Our plan is to process initially around 20% of overall organic waste

Goal 3:
Reduction of production costs for farmers
Based on current statistics and other data Dhemetra will reduce the price of organic fertilizers down to 30%.
Since Fertilizers take place in cost structure of farm production significantly (20%-30%), these costs will overall drop around 6-9 %.
Goal 4:
Reduction of Unemployment
Dhemetra plans to employ 15-20 people directly in the project.
Secondary employment (distribution, sales, increase of agriculture production) figures will be much higher
Goal 5:
Impact on land and environment
Organic fertilizers produced in Dhemetra will replace considerable amount of inorganic (chemical) fertilizers.
In addition to releasing nutrients, as organic fertilizers break down, they improve the structure of the soil and increase its ability to hold water and nutrients. Over time, organic fertilizers will make soil and plants healthy and strong.
Goal 6:
Added value for companies that have organic waste as their byproduct
Processing companies that have organic waste as their byproduct (poultry, wine, & juice producers, butchers, etc) instead of costs for waste management they will have income from sales of organic waste to Dhemetra
